Ian Clayton is part of a new breed of prophetic voices that are teaching a generation to walk in the mystic realm of God. Ian Clayton ~ is the founder of Son of Thunder. For the past 24 years he has pursued passionately a life of trying to understanding and get to know who the person of God really is. He is vitally connected within a local church and serves in the capacity of an Elder at his local church in New Zealand. Ian travels itinerantly by invitation throughout New Zealand, Africa, America, Europe and Asia ministering, teaching, equipping and mandating people to become Sons of God.
Ian’s heart in founding Son of Thunder was to have an avenue to put strategies and keys into believers’ hands to enable them to actively participate in the reality of the realms of God’s Kingdom and to experience the empowerment of life as the spirit beings we were created to be.
Ian trains and equips believers to give their lives in a persistent, passionate pursuit of the person of God, enabling them to discover that their lives are about the preparation for oneness and unity with God for the purpose of becoming mandated and authorized ambassadors of His Kingdom. His passion is to reveal to the Sons of God the purpose of the power of the attorney of God within them, removing the sense of powerlessness and hopelessness that is often attached to many in the body of Christ when they are confronted with the reality of the spirit world that surrounds them.
John Gabriel Arends ~ is a worship leader and recording artist with a heart to see people everywhere encounter God’s love, truth, and supernatural power. John lives in Kalispell, Montana, where he serves as worship pastor at his home church, The River. John frequently leads worship at churches, conferences, and events locally and across the United States. He also leads worship in foreign nations, seeking to change the spiritual atmosphere of those nations and encouraging the local worship teams there. John has written many cutting edge worship songs that are being sung around the United States and around the world. During a worship time in a small church, the Lord spoke to John and said, "I died to bring My bride back to Me. Are you willing to die to bring her back to Me?" Since that time, John has endeavored to touch people everyday for the Kingdom of God—until they all come home. With this calling burning in his heart, John’s worship ministry is permeated by the longing of the bridegroom and His bride. Intimacy, holiness, purity, open heavens, revival, and joy in salvation are common overtones that people experience from John’s life and ministry.
Everywhere he goes, he desires to be a "God-encounter" for the people around him. He has a passion to see people go deeper into God (Ezekiel 47:1-12), to see people become consumed by heaven and the the things of God’s supernatural Kingdom, and to see Jacob’s generation raised up—a generation that seeks the Lord with clean hands and pure hearts (Psalm 24, Psalm 73:1), that violently pursues their birthright (Matthew 11:12, Hebrews 12:14-17), and that walks in the wisdom of the righteous to be prepared for the coming of the Lord (Luke 1:17).
